Description
(Quercus palustris) The best known oak for street and ornamental planting. Forms a symmetrical pyramidal head with drooping branches. Beautiful green foliage of leaves 3″ to 5″ wide with five pointed lobes, bright green leaves turning yellow to radiant red in Autumn. Prefers somewhat moist soil. A fast growing tree with light to dark grayish-brown bark. Mature height of 75 to 80 feet.
